Professor Alon Rosen has been named the new Director of the Department of Computing Sciences at Bocconi University. Professor Rosen brings a rich academic background, having studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Weizmann Institute, with further specialization at Harvard and MIT. 

As Director, his vision includes attracting exceptional students and faculty, securing funding, and promoting a collaborative environment that nurtures intellectual growth and innovation. Professor Rosen acknowledges the contributions of his predecessors, Riccardo Zecchina and the late Luca Trevisan, in establishing a department that combines academic rigor with a human touch. He aims to continue building on this legacy, guiding the department towards excellence in computing sciences.
